Emergence - What is ready to grow?

March 2026

Welcome to March.

The Long View is a short monthly pause - a moment to step back from the noise of work and life, and reflect on what really matters.

The first signs of spring are beginning to appear.

Daffodils pushing through the soil.

A little more light at the beginning and end of the day.

And this week, the first lambs in the fields.

It’s the time of year when nature quietly reminds us that growth rarely arrives all at once.

It begins with small signals.

Something shifting, beginning, emerging.

In leadership, these moments are easy to miss.

We often focus on big decisions, major change, and visible results. But many of the most important shifts begin much earlier - in small observations, new questions, or a sense that something no longer fits in quite the same way.

This month’s reflection is an invitation to notice those early signs.

Not to rush into action.

Not to force clarity.

Just to pause long enough to recognise what might be starting to take shape.

In this edition of The Long View, you’ll find:

A short outdoor audio reflection

A simple one-page worksheet - a few questions to help you reflect on what might be ready to emerge in your life or work.

This isn’t about setting new goals or pushing for change.

It’s about creating a little space, the kind that helps clarity emerge before momentum takes over.

I hope it offers you a moment of perspective as the season begins to shift.
