Leadership clarity doesn’t always come in a meeting room - sometimes it comes from nature.

At a Coaching Outdoors conference, I experienced solo camping, wild swimming, and time around a fire pit. Being fully present, disconnected from routine, sparked clarity and reflection.

Lessons for leaders:

  • Pausing opens space for insight

  • Disconnecting enhances presence

  • Reflection outside the norm reveals priorities

Stepping outside the familiar can unlock energy and purpose.

Reflection

When was the last time you stepped outside your usual environment to reflect - what might you discover this week?

Consider one small change in your environment that could spark clarity or insight.
